The 8th Annual Feagin Leadership Forum was held on May 19th and 20th. Scott Kozin, MD and his team from Children's Hospital of Philadelphia began the Forum by sharing their remarkable work on the first pediatric bilateral hand transplant, a true testament to the potential of teamwork and leadership.
Diana McNeill, MD and Kevin Shah, MD led a mentorship panel to provide guidance and insight into the role of a physician mentor. Rick Wilkerson, MD, Josh Lacsina, MD, FL'11, and Billy Fischer, MD served on a panel for Selfless Leadership in Overseas Service and demonstrated the impact that the Feagin Leadership Program has both nationally and internationally.
On day two of the Forum, John Horan-Kates guided a pre-breakfast mindfulness time. Karl Kimball, Juliano Hand, Michael Goodmon, and Hilda Smith then served on the Selfless Leadership in the Community panel, providing an example of the far-reaching impacts of careful, selfless leadership.
Steve Pagliuca and Coach Mike Krzyzewski closed the Forum with personal keynote addresses.
While we marveled at the accomplishments, advice, and wisdom of our panelists and speakers, the Feagin Scholars were the highlight of the Forum. Their outstanding and insightful projects emulate the bright future of each Scholar to impact the future of healthcare as selfless leaders. We invite you to watch this year's forum below, and to explore team projects, past and present, in the "Leadership Forums" tab.
